Have you ever wanted to catch a fish with a fly you’ve tied yourself but weren't sure how to do it?
We will again offer “Beginner’s Fly Tying” classes that will teach you the basic techniques and essential skills in the art of fly tying. This course is designed to introduce you to the basic elements of tying your own flies with a variety of fur, feathers and tinsel. Learn how to use the tools, materials and techniques that will enable you to tie many patterns as well as give you the foundation to tie your own patterns. You will learn how to tie streamers, nymphs, wet and dry flies.
This class consists of (4)-two hour sessions during July 2011 and will be held on Saturdays (1:00 pm – 3:00 pm) on the following dates: July 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th.
February 2012 classes will be held on Tuesdays (6:30 pm – 8:30 pm) on the following dates: February 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th.
Note: It is important to attend the first day of any session to fully understand the basic skills necessary for the remaining classes. Each class is different and builds upon the previous class. To register, please visit our Customer Service counter. Fee is $10 of which you will receive in a $10 gift card upon full completion of the class. A minimum of 4 participants is required for this class.
