Larry's Super-Easy (Super-Secret) Fish Fry Recipe

If it’s August in Central Illinois, it’s time for the Taste of Peoria. Held annually on the second Wednesday of the month, the taste is the pinnacle event for foodies across the mid-section of the state. Visitors from near and far flock to the Peoria Riverfront to sample awesome creations from area restaurants and vendors.

This was a great opportunity to watch them with four of our Bass Pro Shops Fish Fry Kits, operating at full capacity from 4pm until the 11pm closing. You can purchase these same fish fryers from our camping department for $49.99.

Not only was the crowd buzzing about the gator, but everyone noticed the energy of the friendly, very well-staffed crew. A tip of the Bass Pro Shops hat goes to everyone at Uncle Buck’s for providing Taste attendees with great and superior customer service. Everyone a the Taste loves quick service and short lines!
