We are having FREE Need- To- Know Seminars for three days straight. May 4th from 6pm-9pm, May 5th & 6th 1-5pm. Each Topic will last an hour. Come learn with the gun enthusiast and Pros all you need to know about guns, conceal-carry laws, permits, selecting equipment, proper reloading techniques, and tips&tricks to ensure success.Concealed-Weapons Specialist, Joe Snyder will teach you what you should expect from a Conceal & Carry Weapons class, what it costs, who is eligible to get a CCW permit and how to sign up for a class. He teaches a Concealed Weapons License Course regularly at Bass Pro Shops here in Dania Beach so you know you will be taught by our very best!

Take a picture with the Easter Bunny and receive a FREE 4x6 photo. We will have crafts for the kids and a Easter Egg Hunt. Don't forget to tell all your friends and family members to join you here at Bass Pro Shops in Dania Beach, FL where the fun begins and shopping never stops. PHOTO TIMES & DAYS: Saturdays 11-3pm, Sundays 1pm-4pm, Weekdays April 2nd- 6th 6pm-8pm. Photo Packages are available to purchase. The new Costa Del Mar styles have arrived just in time for the 2012 Spring Fishing Classic.
The Rockprt is a light-weight, rimless 580P with a large fit. This and several of the rimless styles are now available in a blue mirror lens.
For the fashion minded, try out the new Hammock and Las Olas. For the early morning fisherman, Costa Del Mar is reintroducing their sunrise lens. This yellow lens is a high contrast lens that enhances depth perception.

Hey everyone, this was the first weekend of our Spring Fishing Classic Seminars and it was a hit! Our seats were packed with customers who were willing to listen and learn about different ways of fishing, tips, techniques, redfish, fish finder basics, side image sonar to catch fish and powerfishing VS finesse fishing from some of our best Pro Staff. I hope everyone who participated in our seminars had a great time and learned something new to share with friends and family at home. I want to say thank you to Bob Miley, Capt. Brian, Mike Porter and Billy Bob for all there help and dedication they put in to our seminars this weekend. These demos were very interesting and i know i learned something new while i was sitting in the seminar taking notes just like other customers were. Our Pro's are here and willing to help out our customers anytime they have questions from the fishing basics to fishing like a pro to which jig to use or which rod is best for them. When these guys are here at our store they make sure you will enjoy your time fishing and give you the right advise on how to catch that big fish! Don't forget next weekend we will be having more seminars put on by Bass Master Pro University. Stopping in our store will be some of our other Pro Staffers such as Mike Gershberg and Mike O'Connor. Thanks guys for attending our fishing classic this year. We are grateful you will be here with us. I know i spoke to some of the customers and they can't wait until they get some advice and tips from some of the best around.

There comes a time in most everyone's life where they need to use reading glasses. 
Tarpon fishing in Biscayne Bay, Miami when the sun is just coming up is a beautiful time to be on the water. But even that early the glare on the water makes it difficult to see the fish. Polarized sunglasses are of course a must, but even an amber lens can still be too dark. The Maui HT (High Transmission) lens is perfect for these conditions. It gives more contrast in low light while enhancing the depth of field.
These lenses work incredibly well on rainy days as well. Even on cloudy days, harmful UV rays can reach you. Don't make the mistake of heading out on the water without protection. You can still get sunburn on cloudy days which shows your eyes can still be damaged too. Maui Jim prides itself on its wonderful UV protection for UVA, UVB, and UVC light. Make sure to do your eyes justice with the Maui HT lenses so you can keep on fishing.
