Join us here at the Hampton Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World on Monday and Thursday Nights from 5:00 P.M. un til 9:00 P.M. in front of our fishing counter for fly tying with Bob Swenson. Bob demonstrates the art and techniques of fly tying along with sharing all the tips and tricks that he has learned while being a guide for "The Way" guide services. He displays a variety of lures that he has created, along with teaching you how to make the perfect lure for your next fly trip, and is happy to answer any questions you may have. I bought a new vise figuring that I would come by and watch the fly tying demonstration and learn some things. I was very disappointed (and a little annoyed to be told that Bob was not doing the demonstration any more. It was the primary reason that I sprang for the vise. I feel like BPS let me down. Is the demonstration coming back or is it gone for good?

Been an avid scuba diver for most of my life, but age is catching up with me, requiring a change in direction. As my son and I are still attracted to both our wonderful local fishing opportunities, and the associated art of fly tying, we stopped by last week, but were greatly disappointed to find Bob's demonstrations no longer available. Hoping that you will make them available again in the future. Are there any similar demonstrations available elsewhere in the area?
