Santa's Wonderland is not far away

Santa's Wonderland Under ConstructionWith Santa’s arrival around the corner, Bass Pro Shops in Independence is starting to look a little bit more like the Holiday Season.

Santa’s Wonderland will kick off on Saturday, November 5th at 5pm.  There will be Carolers, Refreshments, giveaways and most importantly:  Santa Claus himself, in over 3,500 square feet of holiday magic!  Santa will be available to meet and get a free photo that evening from 6pm – 8pm.  It is VERY IMPORTANT that you stop by our Bass Pass booth to get your pass to see Santa.

Some of you guys might be curious what a Bass Pass is exactly.  A Bass Pass allows you to set a pre-determined time to see Santa and avoid those 2 hour lines.  It allows you time to shop in the store, or let your child enjoy some of the many different activities we have to offer in Santa’s Wonderland:  Crafts (please check the hours of availability), Games, Write a Letter to Santa, Coloring Pages, Video Games, Remote Control Cars, and so much more!!  The Bass Passes are first come, first serve everyday and you must have a Bass Pass to see Santa and to claim your free 4 x 6 photo.

The holidays are a magical time.  Come start a new tradition with your family at the Independence Bass Pro Shops!!!  For more information, make sure you LIKE us on our new Fan Facebook Page or call us at the store at 816-795-4300.

So excited! Also wondering if you feed the fish at a regular time for visitors to come and watch. I think my toddler might enjoy it!

Went there and was very disappointed, they turned us away after getting the kids all ready to go and said they were all out of passes. Would go somewhere else

From a customer stand point, the bass passes are a horrible idea. I saw several people walk from the parking lot directly to line and get whisked to the front of the line because they had a pass from earlier in the day. We had a 3:00 pass, but after waiting for 2 hours, when we finally got to the front of the line they started letting people with earlier times cut in front of us. Not just a few, but dozens of people. After being told that we would have to wait for all of these people to go first, then for santa to go to lunch we just left. This was BS. If you miss your time, you just miss it. You can get in line, but not get a free pass to the front just because you sat at home until you decided to go. Last time we go to Bass pro. Horrible experience and even worse customer service.

Not a well thought out idea. If you take the trouble to go all the way out to Bass Pro, find parking and hike down to the santa area, the last thing you want to hear is : here's your pass for 3 hours from now. Who's going to kill 3 hours in Bass Pro with a young child who wants to see Santa or take the time to come back in 3 hours. Most places that have passes like amusement parks), let people stand in line but then allow fast passes for those who want to pick a prearranged time. That way, everybody gets a chance. Hope they take the feedback and change it next year.
